Pocketstop ? Emergency Alert Notification Systems ? A mobile and ...

Emergency Alert Notification Systems are not new but, a new platform, called Red Flag, from Pocketstop looks to provide a fresh perspective by modernizing how people receive and manage their Emergency Alert Notifications.

Slated for release in July 2013, Pocketstop?s sales force is gearing up for the challenge of supplying companies with a 21st century Emergency Alert Notification System built to meet the demands of subscribers that consume information in mobile and social ways. Here are some initial observations from one of the companies newest sales guys.

Steve Perkins learning about Emergency Alert Notification Systems

What a crazy week I?ve had as a new employee at Pocketstop. Here I am getting back to my first passion which is marketing/advertising after being in a different career for the past 6 years. Pocketstop has given me this great opportunity not only to use my degree and what I love to do, but I also get to work with some close friends. In just a short week, I?ve done countless amounts of research on Pocketstop?s Emergency Alert Notification System?called??Red Flag?.?Through this process, I learned we are not the first people to come up with the idea of providing Emergency Alert Notification, but we do provide the most dynamic, scalable, user friendly solution that is still cost effective.

Red Flag?is a fully featured Emergency Alert Notification System that enables the distribution of both Emergency and Informational messages to pre-selected contact groups via cell phone / mobile phone, land line, SMS text messaging, email, social media and more. One glaring difference between Red Flag?and most Emergency Alert Notification Systems is the use of Social Media. For the provider this makes getting communications out to end users easier and faster than ever before. With just one mouse click a message can be sent through email, SMS text messaging, cell phone / mobile phone or land line in addition to?Facebook and Twitter. This allows for message consistency through multiple channels and significantly cuts down on time needed to get the message to the end user. Another way Red Flag?differentiates itself form other Emergency Alert Notification Systems is it provides two-way communication between the provider and the end user. Not only can the provider enter the ways they wish to communicate with the end user but, the end user has the power to securely log in and control the type of communication they wish to receive form the provider. This feature allows for a more comfortable experience by the end user. They can be assured that the provider won?t be bombarding them with communications in ways they haven?t specified with the provider. This allows for a better relationship between provider and end user and increases the efficiency in which messages are read.? This comfort is important when it comes to Emergency Alert Notification?because you don?t want messages being tuned out because end users feel like ?Great, another text, SPAM, solicitation call, HOW DO I GET OFF THIS LIST?? ?HOW DID THIS PERSON GET MY INFORMATION?? Red Flag?provides both parties involved with a solution to get messages out and a comfort in how they are received because the end user has some control.

I can?t wait to see what all I learn in Week 2!!!
