We break down the game time, tv schedule, odds, announcers and more for the 49ers divisional round matchup against the Green Bay Packers.
It's officially game day. The 49ers and Packers will be squaring off at 5:00 p.m. PT on FOX. The winner advances to the NFC Championship Game a week from Sunday at noon PT. The loser heads home for the offseason and begins the process of building for the 2013 season. That's a depressing thought, to say the least.
Both teams enter the game relatively healthy, although the 49ers biggest question mark remains Justin Smith. He will play, but nobody knows how effective he will be. He could be great, he could be a non-factor, we don't know. I'd imagine we'll find out early on just how effective he can be. If the 49ers can get early pressure on Aaron Rodgers, they will have a decent shot at negating the potent Packers passing attack.
This game will come down to a few things, with the turnover battle and red zone performance being most important. Those are fairly obvious, but it does not make them any less important. If the 49ers can win the turnover battle, effectively move the ball in the red zone and keep the Packers between the 20s, this is their game to win.

49ers vs. Packers Odds
The line opened with the 49ers as three point favorites, and it really has not changed much. Some sites have knocked it down to 2 1/2 points, but either way, the line has held fairly steady. These two teams bring different aspects to the field, but they are evenly matched across the board. It has the makings of the best game of the weekend, which probably means it will end up being the worst.
